Precautions for the use of Taiming's COB light source

Before using our COB light source products, please read this instruction carefully to avoid causing bad products!

1. Installation instructions and precautions:

1. Do not use the LED drive power supply that exceeds the recommended voltage/current of our company to light up. You need to use our recommended voltage/current or the following recommended voltage/current drive;

2. When using this product, please ensure that the positive and negative poles of the LED drive power supply are welded to the positive and negative poles of the LED light source respectively. Do not weld the positive and negative poles incorrectly;

3. The power supply must be discharged when welding, please do not work with electricity;

4. For the protection of static electricity, the assembly table (workbench) must be equipped with an anti-static table mat and be grounded. The soldering iron must be grounded to prevent excessive static electricity from causing breakdown of the chip and leakage or dead light;

5. Our company adopts the LED light source with silicone encapsulation process. Please be careful not to touch or press the light source silicone during manual welding. When assembling the reflector and lamp housing, do not press the light source dam glue (our COB light source dams are all Surrounding the two pads) and the surface of the light source colloid to prevent the internal gold wire of the LED light source from breaking due to external force, causing some LEDs to be off (or flickering);

6. Since the high-power LED light source is a heat-generating object, heat dissipation measures must be taken during installation and use. When assembling LED light source products, it is necessary to

Several heat-dissipating grease (specification: solidification temperature ≥250°C, thermal conductivity ≥3.0) is applied to the bottom of the light source in an appropriate amount and evenly, which is conducive to enhancing the heat dissipation effect of the product during use. A good heat dissipation structure can ensure that the product has a smaller light attenuation. The service life is longer; the light source coated with heat-dissipating grease should not be pressed onto the surface of the gel when installed on the lamp;

7. It is recommended to use a 1.8mm temperature-controlled soldering iron for soldering. Using temperature controllable soldering equipment at 300℃±10℃, the soldering time is 5-6 seconds. It is best to add a solder ball with solder paste before soldering to reinforce the soldering to prevent false soldering and save soldering time. Avoid the rapid expansion of silica gel due to too long welding time and high temperature, which will cause the gold wire to break and kill the lamp; before welding, it is best to use a welding gun to solder proper tin on the pad, which can strengthen the welding and prevent false welding. Can save welding time;

8. The protective film plays a protective role for the LED light source during the manufacturing process. Please do not remove the protective film before and after welding to prevent debris and dust from sticking to the surface of the light source; the protective film must be removed before lighting to prevent the light source from being lit and high temperature melting Protective film, causing damage to the light source;

9. This product is a constant current component, please do not use constant voltage drive; otherwise, the color and brightness will be inconsistent. And when the ambient temperature rises, the junction temperature of the LED light source increases to reduce the internal resistance, and the current of the LED light source increases, which affects its lifespan and seriously causes the LED to "burn out". Therefore, it is best to use a constant current source to supply power to ensure the stability of the light source;

10. If the desiccant is yellow or expired, the light source should be dehumidified at 60°±6°/24 hours before use;

11. After aging for 2H, the temperature of the light-emitting surface cannot be higher than 120 degrees, the temperature of the negative terminal of the substrate is lower than 80 degrees, and the temperature difference between the substrate and the case should be within 20 degrees;

12. If there is an abnormality in the product (such as the situation that it cannot be lighted normally), please do not use it by welding, and contact our professional staff to solve the problem on the same day.
